KRAVAN is excited to share its new project with Seeds Garment (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., a garment factory based in Phnom Penh. The factory has chosen KRAVAN to supply and install a PVC curtain system for one of its important doorways. This project aims to improve the working environment inside the factory by making the area cleaner and more comfortable for workers.
The PVC curtain system installed is a fixed type, meaning it will stay in place to provide constant protection. It is made up of PVC strips, each 200mm wide, and these strips are overlapped by 50mm. This overlapping design helps create a barrier that is effective in keeping dust and insects out while still allowing easy access through the doorway.
The PVC curtain covers a total area of 9m², perfectly fitting the size of the door at Seeds Garment’s factory. Workers can easily walk or move equipment through the curtain, as the flexible strips part when pushed and then fall back into place. This makes it a practical solution for busy factory operations.
One of the main goals of this installation is to prevent dust and insects from entering the production area. Dust can affect product quality, and insects can be a disturbance to workers. By installing the PVC curtain, Seeds Garment can ensure a cleaner and safer working environment.
Another important benefit is reducing cold air loss from air-conditioned areas. Factories often use cooling systems to keep the temperature comfortable, especially in Cambodia’s hot climate. The PVC curtain helps maintain the cool air inside, which can lower energy costs and improve overall efficiency.
