Raffles Hotel Le Royal is perfectly situated on a charming, tree-lined street in central Phnom Penh, offering guests both elegance and convenience. Just a short walk from the historic Wat Phnom and a leisurely 10-minute stroll to the picturesque riverfront, the hotel provides easy access to some of the city’s most notable landmarks. Key attractions such as the National Museum, Royal Palace, and Russian Market are all within a quick tuk-tuk ride, and Phnom Penh International Airport is a manageable 45-minute drive away. Known for its opulent accommodations and exceptional service, the hotel encountered a challenge related to managing cold air loss and preventing insect intrusion in certain areas of its property. To address these issues, the hotel sought the expertise of KRAVAN, a well-regarded supplier and contractor specializing in curtain installation.
After a thorough consultation with KRAVAN’s team, the hotel decided to install transparent PVC curtains. This choice was made because these curtains not only effectively prevent the escape of cold air and block insects but also allow for clear visibility through them. This feature is particularly useful as it enables hotel staff and management to monitor activities on either side of the curtain, enhancing both security and operational efficiency. The design of the PVC curtains ensures they stick together seamlessly, creating a continuous barrier while still allowing easy passage. The installation covered an area of about 22 square meters, which included 11 doors.
The process of installing the curtains went smoothly, and the results were very satisfying. The hotel management was thrilled with the performance of the new curtains. They found that the curtains successfully met their main objectives of maintaining the desired temperature and keeping insects out. Additionally, the curtains offered the added benefit of reducing the need for frequent door operations, which contributed to a more comfortable and streamlined environment for both guests and staff.
